Site Manager

Role Overview:

As a Site Manager at Great Land Construction, you will oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring quality, schedule, and cost targets are met. You will coordinate subcontractors, monitor site progress, and maintain our high standards of professionalism and workmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily site operations and ensure adherence to plans

  • Manage subcontractors and on-site teams

  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality

  • Enforce safety protocols and site compliance

  • Report project progress to senior management

Ideal Candidate:

  • Recent graduate or early-career professional in construction management

  • Strong organizational and communication skills

  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin to liaise effectively with teams and subcontractors

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach

  • Passionate about delivering high-quality construction

Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview:

Our QS team ensures every project is delivered within budget while maintaining quality standards. You will prepare estimates, monitor costs, and provide accurate financial reporting for live projects across Auckland.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cost estimates and budget tracking

  • Monitor project expenditures and report variances

  • Collaborate with site teams to control costs

  • Assist with procurement and contract administration

Ideal Candidate:

  • Recent graduate or early-career in Quantity Surveying or related discipline

  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized

  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin to liaise effectively with teams and subcontractors

  • Effective communicator who works well with site teams

  • Eager to grow within a professional construction environment

PLACEMENT Programme

Programme Overview:

Our Placement Programme provides students with hands-on exposure to live projects across Auckland, working alongside experienced site managers and quantity surveyors. Students will gain practical insight into construction site operations, cost management, and project coordination..
